Located 8 miles southwest of downtown Phoenix, Laveen Village offers more than 25 square miles of prime agricultural property. The area has long been valued by farmers and equestrians as well as those who appreciate seclusion and easy mountain access. Laveen Village has managed to keep a low profile for many decades, but is fast becoming a focus for Valley residential and business expansion. Although Laveen has been home to alfalfa, cotton and dairy farms since the 1880s, housing and commercial developments have been increasingly urbanizing the area.
